Two-Way RMU Forward Who Fueled the Colonials’ Winning Run
Russell Johnson was a versatile, high-impact forward for Robert Morris, known for doing a little bit of everything: scoring inside and out, rebounding, and defending with edge. In the 2010-11 season, he averaged 11.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, and he later logged a strong 2012-13 postseason stretch, including a game-high 20 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in one contest. What makes him pop beyond the box score is his reliability and toughness—he was a constant presence on teams that won big and played with postseason-level intensity.
