Texas State’s bullpen weapon is flashing swing-and-miss stuff
Yearwood’s 2026 season has featured real strikeout bite for Texas State: he struck out the side in one inning against Niagara, then logged 1.1 scoreless innings with three Ks vs. No. 2 Texas and 3.1 innings with two strikeouts at Texas A&M. The appeal is the profile, not just the numbers—reports describe one of the Bobcats’ better breaking balls, plus composure in traffic and the ability to attack good lineups out of the bullpen. If you want a righty who can miss bats and keep his cool, he fits.
