Jordan Thatcher brings contact skills, steady defense, and sneaky value behind the plate for Indiana State
In the 2025 season, Jordan Thatcher appeared in 23 games with seven starts for Indiana State, hitting .240 with six hits in 25 at-bats, three RBIs, seven runs, and a perfect 1-for-1 on stolen-base attempts. She also posted a .971 fielding percentage over 34 chances, which fits the profile of a small-but-tough catcher who can handle the job cleanly. What stands out is her career .312 batting average and .394 on-base percentage from high school, suggesting a player with feel for contact and upside if the bat keeps climbing. She looks like a gritty, dependable depth piece with legit developmental value.
