Furman NT Joseph Perez-Garibay is a sturdy depth piece with proven size
Joseph Perez-Garibay enters the 2026 Furman season as a 310-pound nose tackle whose value is tied to interior mass, leverage, and holding ground in the middle rather than eye-popping box-score stats; in 2025 he recorded 7 tackles and 0.5 sacks for the Paladins, after a stronger 2024 run at Idaho State (23 total tackles, 19 assists, and 7 tackles in a career-best game), which suggests he can contribute when given snaps. His best fit is a defense that wants a true space-eater who helps control run fits and frees linebackers to flow.
