Kwame Nettles Jr. brings length, versatility, and high-upside freshman juice to Stetson’s secondary
Freshman DB Kwame Nettles Jr. enters Stetson at 6-1, 175 with a multi-sport background, a strong academic profile, and prep production that included 40+ tackles, a pick-six, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 pass breakups in high school. He looks like a developmental defensive back with range and playmaking instincts more than a finished product, which makes him intriguing for a team that values upside, effort, and special-teams potential. In the 2026 season, he is listed as active on Stetson’s roster, but public game/stat logs show no college stats yet, so this is a bet on traits and growth.
