Andrew Carter brings high-upside right-arm intrigue to Long Beach State
Andrew Carter is a redshirt freshman right-handed pitcher for Long Beach State in the 2026 season, listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds and coming over after sitting out 2025 at TCU.[1][2] His calling card is obvious: he was a three-time no-hitter guy in high school, earned first-team all-league honors twice, and was ranked the No. 26 right-handed pitcher in California by Perfect Game coming out of Damien High.[1] That blend of size, pedigree, and a track record of missing bats makes him a fun arm to watch, especially for teams wanting upside rather than a finished product.[1][3]
