Tomas Lopez brings big-moment stuff and international pedigree to Columbia’s rotation
Lopez is a power right-hander for Columbia who, in the 2025 season, posted a 2-0 record with a 0.73 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 12.1 innings, then followed in the 2026 season with a 3.06 ERA over 17.2 innings despite being limited by injury. Reliable reports note a fastball that sits 92-94 mph with a mix of slider, curve, changeup and cutter, and he has already handled high-leverage innings for Columbia and Team Brazil. If your team wants a poised, versatile arm with legitimate swing-and-miss upside, he’s very much worth the hype.
