Abbey Steen brings durable innings and upside, but 2026 results were uneven in the circle
Steen is a 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher for Niagara who logged **39.2 innings** in 2026 with **18 strikeouts**, but also a **9.53 ERA** and **3.00 WHIP**, showing she was leaned on for volume even when results were inconsistent.[2][6] Her profile suggests a pitcher with size, repeatable innings, and some two-way athletic background, while Niagara’s 2025 roster notes she is also a Nursing major and had already shown enough reliability to earn game action as a freshman.[1][3] She fits best as a developmental arm with competition value and projectable traits, not yet a finished frontline starter.[3][6]
