Natalee Horton gives UMass a power arm with strikeout upside
In the 2025 season, Natalee Horton emerged as a reliable rotation piece for Massachusetts, highlighted by a career-low 4.38 ERA and 104 strikeouts, plus a 10-strikeout outing against St. Bonaventure and an 8-strikeout effort against Maryland. She’s a 6-foot-2 right-hander who brings size, leverage, and the kind of compete level that shows up when games get messy; a 2023 complete-game shutout and multiple late-season relief shutdowns suggest she can handle pressure. If your team wants a pitcher with swing-and-miss stuff and innings-eating potential, Horton is absolutely worth the look.
