6-foot-6, veteran forward with efficient scoring touch and pro experience
Onzie Branch is a 6-foot-6 forward from Topeka who gives Gardner-Webb a long, experienced, playable frontcourt piece with a history of efficient finishing and a physical, low-drama game.[8][2][4] In the 2025 season for Criollos de Caguas, he averaged 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 17.9 minutes while shooting 57.1% from the field, and in 2026 he posted 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in 11 BSN games for San German.[2][4] He’s the kind of forward who helps a roster with size, steadiness, and professional seasoning—good fit if you want reliability, not just highlight reels.
