Cooper Jesperson brings multi-sport athleticism and high-upside right-arm polish to K-State
Jesperson, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound sophomore RHP from Eau Claire, Wis., enters Kansas State with a real “starter’s frame” and a background that screams athletic versatility, having starred in baseball, basketball, and football. In the 2025 season, he went 3-0 in three starts, struck out 22 batters in 12.2 innings, posted a .789 WHIP, and held opponents to a .122 batting average—eye-catching run prevention that suggests bat-missing ability and early poise. For a team, that profile is intriguing because it hints at a competitive, adaptable arm with room to grow, though he’s still early in his college development.
