Hailey Strunk is giving CCSU a workhorse in the circle
In the 2026 season, Central Connecticut pitcher Hailey Strunk has been a steady two-way catalyst, logging 103.2 innings with a 3.85 ERA and a 10-3 record, plus 12 complete games and 3 shutouts—numbers that scream durability and trustworthiness[1][3][7]. She’s not a pure blow-it-by-you ace, but she competes, fills the zone, and has a proven ability to shoulder a staff; that’s the kind of pitcher coaches love when the game gets sticky.
