Oregon State’s glass-cleaning, rim-protecting forward
Warith Alatishe is the kind of forward who changes possessions, not just box scores. In the 2020-21 season at Oregon State, he averaged 9.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game, and he was named Pac-12 All-Defensive Honorable Mention while helping power the Beavers’ Elite Eight run. His calling cards are motor, rebounding instincts, and switchable defense; the concern is that his value is more about impact plays than polished half-court scoring.
