Cal Poly’s 6-foot-4 lefty with a swingman edge
Morano gives Cal Poly a big-bodied, strike-throwing left-handed option who’s shown he can work in multiple roles: in the 2025 season, he posted a 3-0 record with a 2.94 ERA across 19 relief outings, then in 2026 he continued to miss bats while taking on more innings before a shoulder issue briefly sidelined him. The appeal is simple: size, left-handed look, and the ability to survive in leverage, including long relief and spot-start work. If your team wants a durable, competitive southpaw with upside and flexibility, he’s a fit worth circling.
