Kaysia Woods brings veteran shooting touch and versatile wing production to SMU
In the 2024-25 season, Kaysia Woods gave SMU a steady veteran presence on the wing, averaging 4.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 17.1 minutes while shooting 36.6% from the field and 27.8% from three. She also showed stretches of real shot-making pop, including a 12-point, 6-rebound game against North Carolina and a season-high 14 points at Virginia Tech. The appeal is her experience, floor-spacing potential, and ability to fit as a low-drama, effort-first role player who can step into a lineup and compete right away.
