Mason Smith gives Campbell a strikeout-heavy, swing-and-miss arm
In the 2026 season, Campbell right-hander Mason Smith logged 52.0 innings with 61 strikeouts and 2 saves, showing a real bat-missing profile even while carrying a 6.40 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. He’s the kind of arm you care about because the raw stuff is clearly playable, and the Camels trusted him in 20 appearances with 7 starts. The downside is consistency: the run prevention lagged behind the strikeout total, so he looks more like a high-upside impact piece than a finished product.
