Cincinnati LB commit Jaxon Newton brings a classic downhill, high-motor profile
Jaxon Newton is a high school linebacker committed to Cincinnati, with his recruiting profile listing him as a linebacker prospect from Wellborn and noting his signed status for the 2026 season. His value appears to be in the kind of traits coaches covet at LB—physicality, urgency, and positional fit—more than headline-grabbing stat production, so he projects as a development-friendly defender who could fit a Bearcats defense looking for an active, contact-ready linebacker.
