Georgia Southern freshman RHP Dixon Adams flashes a live arm and early poise
In the 2026 season, Dixon Adams made three appearances for Georgia Southern, logging 2.1 innings with a 3.86 ERA while allowing only one run, and he showed immediate strike-throwing composure in his debut and a scoreless career-high 1.2-inning outing against Marshall. The 6-4, 208-pound righty was a top-118 player and top-41 RHP in Tennessee coming out of Battle Ground Academy, and his profile suggests a power pitcher with upside rather than a finished product. For a team, that means intriguing size, arm talent, and developmental ceiling.
