Nick Edwards brought veteran point-guard production to Valpo
In the 2022-23 season, Nick Edwards gave Valparaiso a steady, experienced guard presence: 7.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and a team-best 5.0 assists per game while starting 24 of 32 games. He profiles as a pass-first organizer who can also chip in timely scoring, with enough rebounding and defensive activity to hint at real all-around toughness. The big selling point is feel: Edwards has been described as an experienced point guard who previously led Division II in assists per game before injury interrupted that run, which suggests a high-IQ, floor-raising fit for teams needing poise and playmaking.
