JaQuoia Jones-Brown is becoming Long Beach State’s go-to engine in the backcourt
Jones-Brown has emerged as a high-usage, all-around guard for Long Beach State, averaging strong scoring and rebounding numbers while repeatedly producing in big moments; in 2025-26 she earned multiple Big West Player of the Week honors and has shown she can carry an offense with 20-plus-point outings, efficient free-throw shooting, and full-tilt minutes. What makes her especially appealing is her competitiveness and workload tolerance: she plays heavy minutes, rebounds like a wing, creates off the dribble, and brings two-way pressure that helps a team in tight games.
