Isaiah Johnson is Colorado’s freshman scoring spark plug
In the 2025-26 season, Isaiah Johnson emerged as Colorado’s go-to freshman guard, averaging 16.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 48.6% from the field and 37.8% from three. He also led the Buffaloes in made free throws, threes and steals, which is the kind of all-around punch coaches love: he can score at every level, pressure the rim, and create turnovers. The bigger differentiator? He’s already shown he can carry offense as a freshman and was recognized with All-Mountain District honors, so he looks like a real impact guard, not just a nice prospect.
