steady, veteran SMU QB with small-sample efficiency
Charlie Fiser is a 2026 redshirt senior QB for SMU who has been a low-volume but efficient option, going 4-for-4 for 30 yards in the 2025 season with no touchdowns or interceptions. His edge is poise and reliability rather than flash: SMU’s roster notes show a multi-year veteran with a compact 6'1", 186-pound frame and a decorated high-school résumé, while his college usage suggests a trusted depth piece who won’t panic when called on. He looks like a fit for teams valuing experience, composure, and ball security over pure arm-talent fireworks.
