Malakai Anthony brings dual-threat efficiency and big-play upside to Merrimack’s QB room
Anthony profiles as a **dual-threat quarterback** who has shown he can win with accuracy, efficiency, and timely explosive plays: in 2023, he completed 49 passes for 795 yards with 8 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions, while adding 122 rushing yards and 3 rushing scores for Merrimack. He also earned NEC Offensive Player of the Week honors after a 190-yard, 3-touchdown performance with no picks, showing poise when the game mattered most. The fit is strongest for a team that wants a mobile, efficient passer who can stress defenses without forcing the ball.[3][4][12]
