Jack Potteiger gives CMU a seasoned left-handed bullpen arm
Potteiger is a battle-tested lefty reliever whose value is experience and versatility out of the bullpen: across three seasons at Eastern Illinois, he handled 47 relief appearances and showed he can absorb innings, even though the run prevention has been inconsistent. In 2026 at Central Michigan, he’s already been used in high-leverage traffic and has flashed the ability to pitch through trouble, which makes him a useful fit for staffs needing a situational left-hander and a pitcher who won’t be rattled by pressure.
