Davis Hamilton brings middle-of-the-order pop and steady bat-to-ball skill to Minnesota
In the 2026 season, Davis Hamilton has been a real offensive driver for Minnesota, hitting around .300 with 5 home runs, double-digit doubles, and 30-plus RBIs while regularly popping up in game recaps as a run-producing threat. The differentiator here is the combo: left-handed bat, extra-base juice, and enough contact skill to stay dangerous deep in counts. He also arrives with proven D-I production after three seasons at North Dakota State, so the Gophers get a mature, ready-made hitter who looks like a strong fit if you want immediate lineup stability and some sneaky thump.
