Joe Retic brought steals, playmaking, and streaky scoring to Liberty
In the 2014-15 season, Liberty guard Joe Retic was a high-energy backcourt piece who led the Flames in steals with 29 and ranked second on the team with 2.6 assists per game, while also chipping in 4.8 points per game. His calling card was disruption and pace-setting intensity, not empty-volume scoring: he had a season-high 16 points against Furman and later closed with 15 against Winthrop in the Big South tournament. He looks like the kind of guard who helps a team with toughness, activity, and secondary creation.
