Brandon Metivier brings a compact, athletic right-handed arm to Bellarmine
Metivier profiles as a shorter-but-athletic right-handed pitcher with a projectable frame and a track record of versatility, showing both pitching and two-way experience dating back to high school. He has already handled higher-leverage work, and in the 2025 season he posted a 3.99 ERA with 42 strikeouts and 8 saves over 38.1 innings, suggesting he can miss bats and work in the back end of a bullpen. For a staff looking for a competitive, multi-role arm with some closing experience and athletic upside, he looks like a worthwhile fit.
