Andrew Prejean brings swing-and-miss stuff and a starter’s workload to UAB
Prejean’s profile is built on real bat-missing ability: in 2025 at Meridian CC, he made 12 starts in 13 appearances, struck out 56 batters in 48.2 innings, and finished with six wins, with a season-high 10 strikeouts against Copiah-Lincoln.[1] The differentiator is that he has shown he can handle a starter’s role while producing at a high strikeout rate, and his earlier success at Holy Savior Menard — including nine shutouts and two no-hitters as a senior — suggests a pitcher with competitive edge and durability.[1][3]
