Dylan Richardson brings a heavy right-handed frame and swing-and-miss upside to SDSU’s staff
In the 2026 season, South Dakota State right-hander Dylan Richardson worked in 17 games and added bullpen depth with a power profile: the 6-foot-3, 230-pound junior has already shown he can miss bats, including a season-high three strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings, and he recently strung together four appearances with just one run allowed over eight innings. He’s a later-blooming arm with experience at Edmonds College, a Class 4A all-state pedigree from Union High, and enough physicality to project as a useful fit for a team that wants a durable, aggressive strike-thrower with some edge.
