Tyler Bride brings veteran versatility and a physical edge to Jax State’s secondary
Tyler Bride is a redshirt senior safety for Jacksonville State who has bounced through Georgia Southern, Minnesota, and Jax State, giving him a rare, battle-tested perspective in the secondary. In the 2024 season, he played in two games while dealing with an injury and recorded two tackles in the opener against Coastal Carolina; before that, he logged 42 tackles, three tackles for loss, and nine pass breakups in the 2022 season at Georgia Southern. His biggest differentiators are experience, toughness, and familiarity with multiple systems—useful if a team wants a dependable, physical defender who has already proven he can handle real snaps.
