Jamel Fields brings steady guard play and early productivity to Saint Peter’s
Jamel Fields is a **useful, low-ego guard** whose value shows up in efficient, timely contributions rather than headline-grabbing volume; Saint Peter’s lists him as a guard who averaged **4.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per game**, and he opened his Peacocks career with **6 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound** against LIU Brooklyn.[4] At a team level, Saint Peter’s is competing at a **14-9** mark and sits **2nd in the MAAC**, so Fields is part of a winning rotation where guards must defend, handle pressure and make quick decisions.[1] If you want a player fit for a disciplined system, he profiles as a **reliable connector**, not just a scorer.[4][1]
