Rufus Toe is a sturdy, production-ready edge for HCU
In the 2025 season, Rufus Toe played in 11 games and logged 16 total tackles for Houston Christian, building on a 2024 campaign where he posted 26 tackles, 2 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, 4 quarterback hurries, and a forced fumble[7]. At 6-foot-2 and 255 pounds, he looks like a compact, physical defensive end who can set the edge and generate pressure without needing spotlight stats to matter[1][7]. The appeal is the motor: a steady, veteran defender who gives you effort, toughness, and functional pass-rush production.
