AJ Labrusciano gives Rider a gritty, senior infield presence with pop in timely spots
In the 2026 season, AJ Labrusciano has been a steady senior infield option for Rider, appearing in 20 games with 9 starts and producing 9 hits, 4 RBIs, and 6 runs while also delivering his first collegiate home run in a 2026 game against Delaware; earlier, he hit .194 in 2024 and .191 in 2026, so the bat has been more connector than thunder, but the value shows up in experience, versatility, and big-moment reliability. He also earned MAAC All-Academic recognition, which fits the profile of a composed, high-IQ roster fit rather than a pure stat-sheet monster.
