Gracie Granate brings lefty upside, but CCSU still needs command gains
In the 2026 season, Central Connecticut left-handed pitcher Gracie Granate has taken her lumps, posting a 2-7 record with an 8.40 ERA and 21 strikeouts across 45.0 innings, but the raw profile is still useful: she’s a young arm with legitimate pitchability and value as rotation depth. CCSU’s roster lists her as a sophomore from Barrington, NJ, and her early college track suggests a developmental fit rather than an immediate ace. If your team wants a competitive, left-handed pitcher with upside and room to sharpen command, she’s worth a look.
