Nehemiah Hixon brings elite speed and Swiss-army-knife value for Alabama State
In the 2025 season, Nehemiah Hixon was one of Alabama State’s most dangerous all-around playmakers, piling up 488 kickoff return yards on 16 returns with a 30.5-yard average and a touchdown, plus 13 punt returns, while also appearing in games on offense[9]. That kind of explosiveness matters because he isn’t just a box-score guy—he’s a field-position changer with twitch, toughness, and special-teams juice that can swing momentum in a hurry[9][14]. At 5'5" and 170 lbs, his size is the obvious question, but his edge is the opposite: he plays bigger than he is and brings immediate spark value if a team wants speed, energy, and game-breaking return ability[15].
