Bella Stephens brings leadoff speed, contact, and award-level intangibles to Saint Louis
Stephens arrives at Saint Louis as a high-upside outfielder and true table-setter: she was a three-time all-conference honoree, a 2024 all-district pick, and posted a .376 average with 50 hits, 14 stolen bases, six home runs, and a 96% contact rate as a senior at Rock Bridge. She also hit .411 with just three strikeouts in 84 plate appearances, which points to elite bat-to-ball skills and real pressure on pitchers. Beyond the stat line, she was a state-runner-up leadoff hitter and a finalist for adversity and inspiration awards, suggesting toughness, leadership, and a team-first edge that should translate well to a competitive college lineup.[1]
