Freshman pop, SEC upside, and a bat that’s already shown juice
In the 2026 season, Florida freshman outfielder Jacob Kendall appeared in 31 games with 22 starts and flashed real power with two home runs, two triples, and 12 RBI in 79 at-bats, even as the overall line settled at .190/.270/.329[1][6]. His best trait is loud upside: multiple reports noted strong spring power, athletic outfield play, and a left-handed bat that can change a game when he squares one up[3][8][12]. The caveat is consistency—he showed SEC growing pains and was later used more situationally, so he looks like a high-ceiling fit for a team willing to bet on tools and patience[13].
