Hannah Frye is Gardner-Webb’s steady-arm RHP with workhorse upside
In the 2026 season, Hannah Frye has flashed the kind of durability coaches love: she’s delivered multiple quality outings, including a five-inning shutout with two strikeouts against Western Carolina and a win over West Georgia while working 5.1 innings and allowing just one earned run. The Kingsport, Tenn. right-hander also earned wins against Lafayette and has shown she can battle through traffic, which makes her valuable even when command isn’t perfect. The big question for any fit is consistency, but the arm strength, competitive edge, and ability to miss enough bats make her a legit rotation piece.
