Garett Blanchard gave McNeese a real mid-season spark in 2026
In the 2026 season, Garett Blanchard emerged as a sturdy McNeese right-hander who could chew up innings and give his club a chance to win, highlighted by a career-best six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts in the Southland-clinching shutout over Northwestern State. He finished the 2026 season 3-3 with a 4.35 ERA across 41 innings, and the profile here is that of a competitive, attack-minded starter who can miss bats when his delivery is on. If your team wants toughness, strike-throwing, and a pitcher who can handle pressure moments, he’s a credible fit.
