Illinois OL Griffin Rousseau is a towering, high-upside project with real pedigree
Griffin Rousseau arrived at Illinois as a three-star offensive tackle from Stoughton, Wisconsin, and the eye-catching traits are obvious: he’s a massive 6-foot-7 lineman with strong academic/character markers, was a multi-time all-conference and academic standout in high school, and brought a family-first fit the staff clearly liked. In his 2025 freshman season, he redshirted and did not play in a game, so the profile is still upside-heavy rather than production-heavy. If you want a developmental tackle with length, size, and room to grow, he’s a classic “bet on the frame” kind of recruit.
