Khalil Badru brings efficient, physical wing minutes for Iona
In the 2025-26 season, Khalil Badru has been a low-usage but efficient piece for Iona, averaging 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10.1 minutes while shooting 49.4% from the field and earning a spot on the 2024-25 America East All-Rookie Team at New Hampshire.[1][9] The 6-foot-5 guard stands out for his sturdy frame, rim pressure, rebounding from the wing, and “do-the-dirty-work” profile rather than shot creation; the fit is best for a team needing size, toughness, and dependable role-player energy, not a volume scorer.[1][6][8]
