Josiah Golden brings JUCO punch and late-blooming upside to Oklahoma State's staff
In the 2026 season, Oklahoma State RHP Josiah Golden arrived with a proven JUCO résumé: a 21-4 record, 176 strikeouts in 147 2/3 innings, and a fastball reportedly up to 96 mph, which is the kind of power arm that can change a bullpen or rotation picture fast. He also helped Johnson County CC reach the 2025 NJCAA Division I JUCO World Series, and his 6-foot, 204-pound frame suggests durability and starter traits. After a brief two-appearance spring at OSU, the appeal is clear: velocity, strike-throwing pedigree, and upside if his stuff plays consistently against Big 12 bats.
