Jovanna Donaruma brings versatility, patience, and sneaky value for Iona
In the 2026 season, Jovanna Donaruma appeared in 38 games with 24 starts for Iona, posting a .237 average, .387 on-base percentage, .356 slugging percentage, 14 hits, four RBI, and four stolen bases while splitting time at catcher, outfield, and designated player[1][2]. She was also a MAAC All-Academic Team honoree in 2026[1]. The quick read: she’s a smart, flexible piece who can help a roster in multiple spots, gets on base at a useful clip, and shows enough speed and instincts to create extra value beyond the box score[1][2].
