Long, rangy Marshall DB with real upside, but still a blank slate on Saturdays
A 6-foot-2 defensive back from Northwest HS in Germantown, Md., Nti arrived at Marshall as a three-star prospect and Maryland’s No. 44 player in the Class of 2025, giving the Herd a length-and-ball-skills profile that coaches love to mold. In high school, he helped Northwest go 9-3 in 2024 with 27 tackles and 3 interceptions, which points to legitimate playmaking instincts. The big draw here is upside: he’s a physical, young DB with recruiting pedigree, but he’s still early in his college development and has not yet built a statistical resume at Marshall.
