Charlotte’s 6-6 power arm still has upside, but the 2026 results are uneven
Adam Baker, a redshirt sophomore RHP for Charlotte in the 2026 season, brings a big frame at 6-6 and 230 pounds, plus a starter’s build that suggests innings-eating upside. His current stat line is still developing, though: he logged a 4.76 ERA over 5.2 innings in Charlotte’s 2026 stat book and was also listed with a 7.50 ERA over 6.0 innings in 2026 analytics tracking, so the body and arm talent are more intriguing than the production so far. He looks like a developmental fit for a staff that values size, durability, and projectable velocity rather than finished polish.
