Playmaking, ball-hawking defender with top-end FCS recognition
Ken Moore Jr. has emerged as one of Western Carolina’s most impactful defenders, earning 2026 preseason FCS All-America honors after a 2025 season that featured 43 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions and 7 pass breakups, including a 64-yard pick-six against Furman.[8][9] He’s a strong fit for teams that value versatility, production and high-motor, playmaking defensive backs, because he has shown he can line up at corner or nickel and still generate turnovers and backfield disruption.[8] His 8 career interceptions and 24 career pass breakups underscore a consistent knack for changing games.[8]
