Rice’s Elite Two-Way Guard Averaging 8+ PPG, 11+ RPG, 3+ APG
Hailey Adams (note: player is Hailey, not Ako) is Rice Owls’ standout women’s basketball guard who uniquely averages at least 8 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in the 2025–26 season—the only player nationally to hit all three thresholds [1]. Her career-high 17-point, 12-rebound performance against Tulsa in February 2024 showcases her explosive two-way intensity and clutch scoring [2]. Adams differentiates herself with rare versatility as a guard who dominates the paint, displays relentless defensive pressure, and elevates teammates with consistent playmaking. With no reported injury history and a high-intensity, team-first personality, she’s an ideal fit for programs needing a versatile, battle-tested leader who can control both ends of the floor.
