Aiden McKinley is Dayton’s tone-setting, stat-sheet stuffing linebacker
In the 2023 season, McKinley emerged as Dayton’s defensive engine, finishing with 87 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles, then earned preseason All-PFL recognition entering 2024. He plays with real burst and disruption ability for a 6'2", 221-pound LB, and he’s the kind of defender who can wreck a drive with a tackle for loss or strip the ball at the right moment. He’s also been recognized for major year-to-year growth, which hints at a high-motor, coachable player who fits best with a team that values physicality, relentlessness, and production over flash.
