Jalen Gibbs brings shot-making pop and tournament-tested scoring to Jacksonville State
Gibbs is a compact, proven guard who can heat up fast and punish defenses from deep; in the 2021-22 season, he hit 77 threes for Jacksonville State, scored a program-record 40 points at Elon, and averaged 11.1 points while shooting 40.3% from three. He also showed he can handle big moments, dropping 20 points against Auburn in the NCAA Tournament. The appeal is obvious: instant offense, spacing, and fearless shot-making. If you need a guard who can light a fuse without needing plays spoon-fed, he’s your guy.
