Zoey Nussbaum adds speed, energy, and roster flexibility for Iona
Zoey Nussbaum is a 5-foot-3 left-handed outfielder for Iona whose 2026 role leaned heavily toward pinch-running, with appearances in 12 games and at least one stolen base plus runs scored against Jacksonville and North Florida. Her value is less about volume stats and more about quickness, versatility, and game-to-game spark — the kind of player who can change an inning with pressure on the bases. She also brings a business-admin student-athlete profile and transfer-portal background, which suggests a competitor navigating a career reset rather than a finished product.
